The battery-powered pad is designed to provide effective red light therapy, which has been shown to aid in the reduction of inflammation and pain. Upon arrival, the pad will come with the battery charged to approximately 30%. You may utilize the pad when you receive it and fully charge it the following day. The charging time for the battery is approximately 10 hours, which is necessary due to the high power of the pad. If needed you can use the pad while charging, though not recommended. The pad should hold a charge for 10-12 15 minute uses. The ON/OFF button will flash red when the pad needs to be charged.  While charging the button will flash and stop once fully charged.

This pad can be applied to any area of the body that may benefit from red light therapy. It is highly recommended to use the pad daily on your gut, doing so is very beneficial of the microbiome. The therapy works by stimulating wound healing and increasing blood flow to the targeted area, which can enhance recovery and alleviate discomfort. It is important to note that there are no known contraindications for the use of this pad. However, individuals with specific health concerns should consult their medical doctor for personalized advice before use.

In terms of specifications, the LED pad is equipped with four chips (wavelengths) per LED, providing a comprehensive range of therapeutic light. The pad features four distinct wavelengths of light: two red wavelengths at 630 nm and 660 nm, and two near-infrared wavelengths at 830 nm and 850 nm. These wavelengths have been selected based on their proven efficacy in promoting cellular repair and reducing inflammation.

INSTRUCTIONS:

1.Place the pad on the area you wish to treat. You may Velcro to secure the pad or simply place directly on the area.

2. Press the ON button. This will activate ALL  wavelengths of light (RED and NIR) This will be the recommended setting for most use cases. The synergy of utilizing all wavelengths will elicit the greatest response.

2nd press will use only RED, this is more surface treatment for minor skin conditions

3rd press is NIR only.  NIR will penetrate deepest into tissues. This will be very faint and appear to be off.  Near infrared is hard for the eye to visualize.  If you are turning off your pad make sure to press through the NIR to ensure your pad is off as indicated by the ON/OFF button

Press and hold either 1/2/3 setting will activate 10hz pulsing. Research indicates pulsing to be effective for treating arthritis pain.  There are differing schools of thought on pulsed vs continuous wave light use. Please use caution if activating pulse modes as it may induce seizures or headache in those susceptible. 

3. The pad will shut off after a 15 minute treatment. You may use the pad multiple times in the same area and multiple times per day. There is very little risk of overuse.

5. If needed you may clean the pad with a damp cloth and wipe clean. Do not submerge or wet the pad
